Standing Ovation

'Standing Ovation' was Trocadero Art Space's inaugural International Women's Day exhibition - which is now a part of their annual calendar. It explored concepts surrounding female fandom, and the relationship  between generations of feminist artists.

As well as the main exhibition, showcasing the work of Gabby O'Connor, Georgia Banks, Kate Just, Julie Shiels, and Narinda Cook, 'Standing Ovation' also hosted a spoken work event, Dear Artist by '& Also Presents', and WAVES; a short film festival exploring the feminist mantra "the personal is policitcal".
